Firstly, you'll need to create a blogging disclaimer. This is very quick and easy to do:
• Go to your Blog dashboard and select ‘Layout’
• Add a section titled ‘Disclaimer’
• "Comments or opinions expressed on this blog are those of their respective contributors only"
Blogging Policy
• Respect the company’s confidentiality and proprietary information.
• Make it clear that the views expressed in the blog are yours alone and do not necessarily represent the views of your employer.
• Ask your manager if you have any questions about what is appropriate to include in your blog.
• Be respectful to the company, employees, clients, partners, and competitors.
• Understand when the company asks that topics not be discussed for confidentiality or legal compliance reasons
• Ensure that your blogging activity does not interfere with your work commitments.
Blogging Guidance
• Tell the truth.
• Use human voice.
• Write deliberately and with accuracy.
• Acknowledge and correct mistakes promptly.
• Keep all comments unless they are spam or off-topic.
• Reply to comments when appropriate, and do so promptly.
• Always do a basic spell check.
• Disagree with other opinions respectfully.
• Link to online references and original source materials directly
• Link to your competitors and say nice things about them
• Resist blogging any murky details about your private life; it might put strain on you personal and work relationships.
